This series explores the intimate moments that so often go unseen within the mysterious, mossy, magical realm of old growth forests. A "familiar" can also refer to the folkloric idea of having a spiritual companion or guide that often takes the form of an animal. This series is about the "familiar" creatures we know and may encounter while exploring the world around us, and also about the emotional and spiritual kinship between animals and their diverse, interconnected environments.
