Pileated Woodpecker - Vinyl Sticker

The world's largest woodpecker (unless you believe the Ivory-billed is out there somewhere...) is the Pileated Woodpecker. They grace our forests with regality and raucousness, clinging to tree trunks as their powerful beaks drum at the bark. They use their long tongues to catch beetles and other insects lurking within. Though sometimes elusive and shy, I have often seen them only about 10 feet up a tree trunk, vigorously carving out their characteristic hand-sized rectangle-shaped holes in the bark.
